Registration Terms and Conditions Part 1
Space Is Limited: Register Early!
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces for participants at a special rate are limited to three participants per course and only for countries with low income. This limit excludes self-study courses.
Payment for all purchase orders must be received in full before the start date of the course given in the registration. Participants registering with a purchase order should follow up with their employer to ensure timely payment.
Requests for refunds of the registration fee for courses must be received no later than ten calendar days before the start of an online event. A $75 processing fee will be deducted from the amount to be refunded. Virtual seminars and self-study online courses or introductory workshops are nonrefundable. Registration fees are nontransferable and they are bindning.
ACT Institutet Sweden reserves the right to cancel any course because of low registration or events beyond ACT Institutet Sweden’s control. In the unlikely event of cancellation, registrants will be notified and offered the option to switch to a different course or receive a full refund.
Professional Development Facilitator
ACT Institutet Sweden reserves the right to substitute event facilitators in the unlikely event that the facilitators listed cannot conduct the program. The substitution of event facilitators is not a cause for a refund.
ACT Institutet Sweden facilitators may receive an honorarium for presenting at ACT Institutet Sweden learning events.
ACT Institutet Sweden facilitators agree to present materials and contents that are educationally sound for the learning event and will provide timely feedback on a participant’s progress. Proper citations and permissions have been used and granted. If a facilitator’s proprietary interests are present in the learning event, ACT Institutet Sweden will post this information on the event’s webpage.
Certificate of Completion
ACT Institutet Sweden provides a certificate of completion with hours of professional development for each course participants complete.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
At this point, the ACT Institutet Sweden is not offering CEUs since in Sweden we do not use them. However, when courses are on-demand by another institution in another country, we have offered CEUs. We are on the process to get an answer the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) in the case we could get authorized to issue the IACET CEU in the future.
